‘Croatia – Winter Wonderland’ campaign launched by HTZ

The Croatian National Tourism Council has launched a new winter promotional campaign “Croatia – Winter Wonderland”, which will be implemented until January 10 in the main markets, namely Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy and the Czech Republic. Holland, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Sweden and Norway.

Activities will be carried out on social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Pinterest using the hashtags #CroatiaWinterWonderland and #MagicalCroatia. The main objective of the campaign is to preserve the vision of Croatia by highlighting the winter beauty of Croatian destinations, as well as some of the tourism products such as gastronomy, culture, natural beauty and wellness.

“The promotions we have had this year have made our country a good, safe and well-prepared destination. We have been very successful in this, which was confirmed by the European Travel Committee (ETC), which noted that during the autumn campaigns the Croatian Tourism Board was the most active European tourism organization on the Portal and social networks, visit Europe and as such an example for tourism organizations in other countries. By the end of this year we expect to achieve a certain tourist movement, Croatian destinations have prepared an interesting Advent show that we will highlight as part of this winter campaign, ” Croatian National Tourism Board boss Christian StanicicHe added that the campaign will include traditional recipes, customs and traditions, how to make gingerbread and the best places to create winter images.

As part of this campaign, the #MagicalCroatia tag will be adapted to specific destinations that will be included in the promotional activities, so destinations and fans are invited to use tags like #MagicalZagreb, #MagicalOpatija, #MagicalSplit etc. Also, part of the campaign is a competition that will take place in individual markets , where prizes will be awarded for the best winter beauty photos of Croatian destinations and locations, as well as the best answers of fans on social networks to prize questions.

In order to achieve the best possible results, as part of the campaign, if the epidemiological conditions in the country and in the resurgent markets allow, a trip is planned for foreign influencers who will visit the winter wonderland of Rab Island, explore Plitvice Lakes National Park in white, and enjoy the Christmas spirit in Zagreb and Dubrovnik , etc.
