The Security Agency issued the relevant statement on January 10.

“Recently a number of fake pages and profiles under the name of the State Security Apparatus have been observed on some social media platforms. The presence of such cases prompts many users to accept these accounts as an official source, as a result of which the material, published on its website, is Posted on social network resources.

We would like to point out that the official website of the State Security Service is, and official information is only available through these sources. We would also like to emphasize that the official pages of the State Security Apparatus on social media are issued by the Facebook administrations, Twitterand Instagram and YouTube and they have a verification tag that validates these resources.”

The service indicated that there was no profile or account on social networks to drive it.

The report stressed that “information on the activities of the State Security Service should be obtained only from the above-mentioned official Internet sources.”
